Pairs of single fiber 4CH DWDM mux and demux devices, housed in a 1U rack, are commonly used. Side A features a wavelength range for RX from C21 to C24 (1560.61nm to 1558.17nm) and for TX from C45 to C48 (1541.35nm to 1538.98nm). Conversely, side B has an RX wavelength range of C45 to C48 (1541.35nm to 1538.98nm) and a TX range of C21 to C24 (1560.61nm to 1558.17nm). These mux and demux devices enable point-to-point transmission of differential services over four channels on a single fiber. Due to their compact design, they can be effortlessly installed in racks or other suitable equipment, making them ideal for a range of applications, including data centers and telecommunications operations.
