Product Details
The QSFP28 40KM transceiver from D-NET is specifically designed for optical communication applications over 40 kilometers. The QSFP28 ER4 40KM converts four input channels of electrical data, each operating at 25.78125Gb/s, into a four-channel LAN WDM optical signal. This signal is then multiplexed into a single-mode fiber using an industry-standard LC connector, enabling the transmission of 103.125Gb/s optical data over 40km of SMF with the aid of Forward Error Correction (FEC). The 100G ER4 40KM module is extensively utilized in 100GBASE-ER4 Ethernet links, OTN OTU4 4L1-9C1F configurations, and client-side 100G Telecom connections.
