Definition of DAC and AOC Cables

What is an AOC cable?
Active Optical Cable (AOC) refers to a kind of optical fiber transmission cable with active optical module built at both ends of the optical cable. It realizes the signal transmission through photoelectric conversion, and has the characteristics of low loss, high bandwidth and far transmission distance.
What is an DAC cable?
Direct Attach Cable (DAC) consists of double copper cable with SFP+/SFP28/QSFP+/QSFP56/QSFP28 connector for direct electrical connection to the active equipment. DAC cables can be divided into passive DAC and active DAC.

Usage of DAC and AOC Cables
AOC application:
