It supports digital diagnostics functions through a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in the SFF-8472 standard. The 10G SFP+ CWDM 10KM 1270nm Module is widely utilized in 10GBASE-LR/LW Ethernet, Sonet OC-192/SDH, and 10G Fibre Channel 1200-SM-LL-L applications.
