With 4 slots in 1U rack mount, the DCI-Box max support 4x 400G transponder board, total capacity 1.6Tbps. The Device is mainly used in data center DCI interconnection and metro access and aggregation. And provide users with optical transmission solutions with different capacities, different transmission distances, and intelligent service applications.

1. What is the DCI-BOX?
A: DCI BOX is a high-speed wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) transmission product that supports multiple services and large-capacity network applications. It is mainly designed for interconnection between data centers of telecom operators and internet enterprises. It can also be used for various transmission applications in the aggregation and access layers of local area networks (LANs) and metropolitan area networks (MANs).
2. What speed rate the DCI BOX support ?
A:The DCI BOX accommodates 4 slots within a 1U rack chassis, with each service card capable of supporting either 4x400G or 2x200G on the line side. As optical transmission technology progresses, future iterations of these service cards will be able to support speeds of 800G and even 1.6T.
3. Does DCI box support dual NMS card ?
A: Yes. Our FW-8800 DCI BOX support two NMS card. Two network management cards can be used as backups, and when the primary network management card encounters an issue, the backup network management card will automatically activate.
