Product Details

Upon entering the M1X8 Magneto-Optical Switch via the input fiber, an optical signal is divided into eight separate beams by a splitter and sent to each of the eight output fiber ports. By adjusting the intensity and orientation of the magnetic field acting on the magneto-optic material, the input optical signal can be directed to a chosen output optical fiber port with precision.
