Of course, the transmission distance is also related to the luminous power, transmission rate, and reception sensitivity of the optical module. Generally, the lower the receiving sensitivity, the farther the transmission distance.
2. Dispersion and loss are different.
In practical applications, 1310nm optical modules generally calculate link losses at 0.35dBm/km, while 1550nm optical modules generally calculate link losses at 0.20dBm/km. The calculation of dispersion values is very complex and is generally only used as a reference.
