To achieve information exchange between optical modules, two types of optical modules must be connected, and the jumper connecting the two modules needs to match their interfaces in order to be inserted for transmission. The interconnection of optical modules between different interfaces requires selecting different connectors for connection, such as:
1. Single core LC interface optical module
The single core LC interface optical module is a BIDI optical module, and it must be noted that BIDI optical modules must be used in pairs. Single core LC connectors are required for connection.
2. Dual core LC interface optical module
The dual core LC interface optical modules include SFP optical module, QSFP28 optical module, CFP optical module, CFP2 optical module, QSFP+optical module, SFP28 optical module, and SFP+optical module, which need to be connected using dual core LC connectors.
