Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) networks combine and transmit multiple signals simultaneously over the same fiber allowing for greater carrying capacity, speeds and flexibility. With DWDM, a single DWDM network fiber is transformed into multiple virtual fibers.
